Good Morning! This weekend has been crazy with shoppers all over town searching for the best deals. Tomorrow is Cyber Monday – the best day to shop ONLINE all year long. With all this craziness going on we can often forget what the Holidays are all about. Faith. Family. Friendship. (without letting our Finances fall apart 😉 )
The best advice I can give you as a #missionarymomma is to make a list and stick to it. We are a faith-based ministry family and have never gone into debt over Christmas in over 3 decades. Not once. That being said, making that list, being creative and remembering that the Holidays are about faith, family and friendship helps to keep you grounded. The ‘perfect gift’ is all about being together and sharing the love and hope that this Season Brings.
However, here are some very important tips (that I have learned) to remember for grabbing the best deals possible.
- Sign up for Amazon Prime: You get exclusive deals, FREE Shipping on most items as well as other perks and pluses.*** (If you are not completely happy with your membership, you can cancel at any time.)
- Look for the Cyber Monday Deals Homepage: You can easily navigate the best deals from here. Make sure to view the Deals of the Day as well as Today’s Hottest Deals. (Hint: some of these deals are posted hourly and have limited supply)
Finally, having Amazon Prime is a wonderful resource because they are so good to their customers. One year I had bought the Children Kindles for my youngest two children and they were lost in the mail. It was looking pretty hopeless to have them arrive on time but somehow Amazon was able to track and get them to us overnight. They were simply wonderful about it all.
Remember to enjoy these precious moments with one another this Christmas Season. Those wonderful memories are what linger in our hearts for years to come.
