Good Morning Book Lovers! I arrived back at the ranch late last night after house and puppy-sitting for my daughter and son-in-law all week. It was a glorious time of reading and sitting by the pool in between caring for two needy dogs and a very cranky hedgehog. 😉
Mondays are catch-up days for most of us after enjoying time with family over the weekend. Reality is hitting me hard this morning as we had 100 youth for a retreat last week from both sides of the border. They had a wonderful time of faith, fellowship and fun during their stay. There is always a lot of work when it comes to serving here on the mission ranch and on a day like today, I listen to my books while I work.
Today I am listening to The Rock, the Road and the Rabbi by Kathie Lee Gifford. I lead a Monday Night Book Club Discussion Group with the Womens Bible Cafe and this is our selection for the month of July. It is no wonder that this book is on the ECPA Bestselling Christian Book List for the month of June. What a great book! Are you involved with a Book Club? We would love to hear more about what you are reading and what is on your reading list for the summer. Feel free to comment below or on our Facebook Page.
