Good Morning Fellow Book Lovers! Today’s list is filled with incredible deals on all your favorite genres. At the moment I am reading a few great books that I have shared here before. The Rock, The Road and The Rabbi by Kathie Lee Gifford has proven to be a wonderful summer read. I lead a Monday Night Book Discussion with the Womens Bible Cafe and we are having a wonderful time discussing this book.
Can’t Nothing Bring Me Down by Ida Keeling has kept me riveted in the evening hours (both books are on sale less than 1/2 price but not within the deep discount price range we use for our Daily Deals 🙂 ). I also found two new books this past week that I have added to my devotional repertoire: Living Close to God by Gene Edwards and A Guide to True Peace by Francois Fenelon. (both deeply discounted today only). There has never been a book by Gene Edwards that I did not devour. I really love his writings. I heard of Fenelon through a friend who pointed me to the writings of Lady Jeanne Guyon. I read her Biography some 30 years ago and it still speaks to my heart. (It was difficult reading but her testimony was inspirational). Both lived in the 16th-17th centuries and were known for their devout faith.Â
Finally, I wanted to say how grateful I am for your love and support this week. For those of you who did not know, my first-born daughter gave birth to our 1st grand-child. He is absolutely an angel. My daughter and her hubbie live right next door and it was a fast and beautiful natural delivery. I was so blessed to be there, she did an amazing job and all went perfectly smooth. We have been enjoying all the love, memory-making and cuddles that we can get during this special time. Again, thank you all for your love and messages on all 3 of my pages. We have felt your prayerful support. We do appreciate prayers for the rest of the medical costs as well as continued health for our wee grandson and daughter. May the Lord richly bless you and yours today and always, Stasia
