Good Morning Book Lovers!
Sir Isaac Newton once said:
“I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.”
This is how I feel today—and every day—as I explore the depths of cybersace to find Inspirational, God honoring books for our Daily Deals list!
Here are a few gems I found today:
“He Chose Nails” by Max Lucado. With his warm, engaging style, Max examines the symbols and stories surrounding Christ’s crucifixion, revealing the claims of the cross and asserting that if they are true, then Christianity itself is true. One of the most beloved Christian authors of our generation, Lucado has been hailed as “America’s Pastor.” If you don’t have this volume, I would encourage you to get it and read it!
“The Big Picture: Getting Perspective on What’s Really Important in Life” by Dr. Ben Carson. Raised in crushing poverty and dubbed “the least likely to succeed” by his classmates, Ben Carson rose to be an icon of achievement, learning and hard work. In 2001, he was named by CNN and TIME magazine as one of the nation’s 20 foremost physicians and scientists, and was selected by the Library of Congress as one of 89 “Living Legends” on its 200th anniversary. Best of all, Ben loves Jesus and lives a God honoring life!
“Find Your Thing: Escape Monotony in Your Mid-20’s & Do Work That Matters” by Lisa Zelenak. This is the perfect book to give to your 20-something (or other age) family member or friend who is spinning their wheels and wondering what to do with their life and how to do it! Author and life coach Lisa Zelenak (a Liberty graduate) was dissatisfied with the way that she saw others just going through the motions of life, and developed a path that will give you clarity on what matters most so you can live a life that matters.
As always, there are many more great titles I don’t have space to mention. See for yourself!
Happy Reading!

Is it possible to feature less romance novels?
Dear Patricia, I hope you are well. I want to thank you for your comment. I am not a huge fiction fan so I share the books that are on sale or discounted each day. I have a hard time deciphering through the inspirational fiction and I, like you, am not a huge romance fan. I have never even seen a Hallmark movie but that is because we are missionaries living in Mexico and don’t have cable. 😉 Would you please reach out to me via either Facebook messenger or our contact page here and share some of the things you like? Perhaps authors etc? I would love to bless you with a small gift card for your help. May the Lord richly bless you, Stasia
