Spread the Word!

Good Morning Friends!

Today’s list of FREE and Inspirational Christian reads features something for just about everyone. Today I have added a new section: “What I am reading this week.” I hope you enjoy it!

Early this morning I was feeding a dozen or so Hummingbirds that were scampering all over my garden, taking turns sipping homemade nectar from the feeder gadget I held in my hand. It was an amazing reminder to me that our great God who took the time to decorate the universe with vast galaxies did not hold back one bit when he created the tiniest birds, these sweet creatures with such amazing detail, aeronautic prowess and charm.

The I was reminded that we are like those hummingbirds. We too seek nectar from the hand of God. Truth enters our hearts and sets us free. It cames to us in many ways as we read and study His Word, hear testimonies and stories of His faithfulness and allow our sanctified imaginations to dream big dreams. Books serve as kingdom decanters. We draw from the sweet nectar to make our day!

Today’s list leads off with the Bestseller “God Still Speaks. Are We Listening?” A.W. Tozer. Tozer was a man of the Word, a prophet to his generation. His books and sermons remain potent and on point today. He once described himself as a revivalist who was called to “Afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted.” If you love his books as much as I do, you will want to add this to your library.

I would also recommend the Bestseller Captured By Grace: No One is Beyond the Reach of a Loving God” by David Jeremiah. This wonderful reads showcases the story of John Newton, the slave-trader-turned -Christian who penned the all time favorite hymn “Amazing Grace.”

Both these books are available today for pocket change. How blessed can we be? And there are many, many more that await you today.

Happy Reading!

~Stasia

What I am Reading/Listening to This Week

So many of you have asked what I am reading so here it is, the books I am reading and listening to on Audible or Kindle with Text-to-Speech this week.

*Note: As a faith-based missionary momma, I only purchase books that are Free*** or Discounted.  As a matter of fact, I buy a Gift Card for my book budget once every two months, apply it to my Amazon account, and stick to that amount so I do not overspend.  (We book lovers tend to do that 😉 )

Always check those prices before you download any book as the prices can change hourly.  These books were all priced at under $1.99 when I bought them.  Also, I do not review books until I have completely read them but you can ask me in the comments if I like these book thus far.  I HAVE read the Amelia Peabody Series more than once so I DO recommend Crocodile on the Sandbank if you like clean, wholesome mysteries.

Dear Patricia, Apparently we lived near her home in Maryland at one point. I have not read all of her books but I think my daughter has. Having 5 daughters who love to read, we all love the Amelia Peabody Mysteries. Which one is your favorite? God bless you, Stasia
