It is Christmas Eve and my husband felt inspired to write a little poem for you. So here it is:
‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,
the bookworms were stirring—Yes!—even the mouse!
For the greatest of stories ever told,
is diamond that sparkles bright and bold,
With angles and facets and thoughts so well written,
And the plot! a lamb who one day would be smitten,
yet rise once again to lead us to safety.
And it a began with a sweet young baby!
Oh write those words again and again!
Craft the colors and weave the story
In fresh vivid hues and new-lived glory.
You writers and authors who work through the night,
to tell the story in a fresh new light:
God bless and keep you this Christmas season.
For reminding us that He is the reason!
