My favorite road (actually air) trip was a short term mission trip to the Dominican Republic. It was a wonderful opportunity and experiences.

Best road trip ever was Girls Bowling Trip to bowl at Nationals in Charlotte, NC. Car breakdowns, getting pulled over by the cops, forgetting bowling balls…best trip ever!!

My plan for best road trip is going to Colorado to see my God daughter and her husband.

This past November my husband and I went to CO originally to do a hunting trip but since it was still warm the elk didn’t come down we decided on a sightseeing trip! We drove through 2 snow storms, went to Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore and spent the night in a different hotel every night for about a week. We were in no hurry and got to enjoy the small towns and enjoy each other’s company along the way.

My favorite road trip was when I was in 2nd grade, and my family traveled across the Western United States. I remember stopping in Jellystone Park, Yellowstone and also the Redwood Forest. We also went to Oregon to visit an aunt who lived in Vancouver/Portland area. The trip to Oregon impressed my little mind so much I decided when I was grown up I wanted to live there. That dream became a reality in 2004 when my husband and I moved to Oregon. I love living in the Northwest. We look forward to getting a travel trailer and traveling with our granddaughter much the same way my family did when I was a little girl. I look forward to making more memories.

I enjoy a road trip with the ladies in my church circle when we go to a Ladies Retreat a couple of hours away from home. The fellowship there and back is so sweet and of course the ladies at the retreat are wonderful to be with.

Good timing for this question! My 13-year-old daughter came home last night and asked, “Daddy, do you want to take a road trip with me?” Her science teacher invited up to 15 students to road trip out to the Mojave Desert, where I was born and haven’t been back to for almost 53 years, to see the Amboy Crater and the Kelso Dunes. It will be about 6 hours each way with primitive overnight camping (no toilets or water). Sounds like a perfect opportunity to create some memories with my youngest daughter. How could I say no?! It won’t be long before such opportunities will be an extreme rarity.

My favorite road trip was one where I got to see the Pacific, Yosemite and Salt Lake.
