Good Morning Book Lovers!

What a week! I am so looking forward to digging into some books from my book list. I have a couple of excellent books by Mark Batterson that I intend to read.

On another note, we so appreciate your prayerful support. This month marks the 3rd full year that I have had to live apart from my family in order to help support us. Some years back we lent our home out to a ministry for a good cause. When we returned, our home was in shambles and all of our things were gone. We spent a lot of time repairing and restoring it and we still have to gut the kitchen and take care of the roof. When the p***demic hit, we lost most all of our monthly income. Life hits us all hard at times as you well know.

We have had a few very difficult years and being able to work has been both a blessing and a challenge. That being said, we never meant for it to last this long but as some of you know, we lost our granddaughter last year as well as some other challenges and we are simply grateful for each day of God’s continued blessing in our lives. I am feeling a bit sad and nostalgic this weekend as John and I celebrate our 41st anniversary apart. We have no reason for complaint though as we are still reviewing lovely memories and photos from our time in Italy that was gifted to us by our daughters, We are so very blessed. I have found a lot of solace in my writing and hope to put out a devotional soon.
