I would like to draw your attention to a special book written by my friend Holly Joy Clemente. Holly and her husband Noe are missionaries in Michoacan, Mexico, which is just south of where we spent many years on the mission field. They have a lovely family and recently came here to stay with us on the mission ranch. Recently, Holly wrote a profound book from one of the most tender places a momma could write. It touched my heart deeply as I share a similar experience from my mission tenure in China. This is a book I highly recommend, truly. Because the holiday season is so difficult for so many in regards to grief and depression, I suggest grabbing a few extra hard copies and keeping them as gifts for friends. The book is called A Painful Kind of Holy and although the Kindle version is on sale until December 15th, grab a hard copy or two and tuck them in your office just in case you need it for a friend or loved one some day.
