Things We Love!

Here are three things absolutely love and use every week.  First and foremost is our Echo Device.  As a homeschooling family in the throes of higher math, the Echo is not only an invaluable tool in helping find quick solutions, it also helps me keep my sanity.  That’s right, when I just need a breather from the work and noise I often slip into my room and let my Echo read to me.  Right now I am reading an Amelia Peabody mystery for fun and a few great books I downloaded last month.  All I have to do is sink into my bed and tell Alexa what to read to me.  Love this!

While I am discussing taking a break, nothing is better than an authentic cup of tea.  Campbell’s Perfect Tea is a delightful loose-leaf tea for the true tea connoisseur.  A little goes a long way and one tin will last us months.  A pot of this tea brings the family together every time.

Finally, I need to tell you about my favorite pasta pot.  I am half Italian and pasta is a HUGE part of our lives.  We make pasta at least 4 times a week.  That being said, I have had some serious pasta fails through the years. 😉 A couple of years ago I found this amazing non-stick pasta pot and the whole family loves it!  The Bialetti Pasta Pot comes with a strainer lid that slides shut and lets the hot water and steam out very efficiently.  It makes perfect pasta every time and the best part is that it is super easy to clean.
