What a great day to hide in bed and read all day. Brrr it is so cold out! The hot chocolate is ready and I am going to sneak in a few chapters before I get to work. Thank you for your patience for today’s list; we had a very late night last night here on the Mission Ranch as our daughter was *ahem kidnapped in the wee hours. Don’t worry, she is fine…it is her birthday (the big one 18!) and we have sort of a tradition where the birthday person is kidnapped in the wee hours and everyone goes out for breakfast.
This crazy tradition began when a dear friend of mine came and woke me up in the middle of the night for my 40th birthday and drug me to Denny’s at midnight, in my pajamas no less! She put a silly crown on my head and we ate, laughed and I soon forgot how very embarrassed I was in my raggy pajamas. I had just given birth to my 6th child earlier in the year and was struggling with depression. Her love and kindness really cheered my heart.
Well, I must be getting going on my own work load for the day. I have removed all the ads from today’s list so we all have even more to celebrate. May the Lord richly bless you today and always, Stasia
