Good Morning Book Lovers,
It’s Saturday morning, just 4 days until Christmas, and we just finished a two day roadtrip through Mexico to get back home! It was so wonderful sleeping in our own bed last night! Our apologies, but the internet at our stops in Mexico was too weak to post, though I did try!
Today we lead off with “The Wonder of the Word: Hearing the Voice of God in Scripture” by Tony Evans. Dr. Evans is the founder and senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, founder and president of The Urban Alternative, former chaplain of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, and present chaplain of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks.
I also highly recommend “Wild at Heart: Field Manual” by John Eldredge. This goes hand in hand with the book, which should be recommended reading for all Christian men and all parents of sons.
